Ottawa, Canada will now host the fifth World Congress on Probation and Parole from September 28 to October 1, 2022. No One Left Behind, Building Community Capacity will be the Congress’s central subject. A variety of plenary lectures and workshops on topics like community measures, sanctions, post-custody, transition, and resettlement are possible under this broad theme. It will include illustrations of effective community engagement techniques, work with marginalized populations, specialized treatments, research findings, and advances in policy and practice.
The discussion will focus on the potential, risks, and success stories associated with developing partnerships and community capacities that promote effective reintegration for various offender groups in a changing international environment.
